Can I take a MOVR ride yet?
Not just yet. MOVR is in pre-release testing, and public rides and app downloads are not available. New York City is our planned starting point. We’ll confirm the launch date and service area when everything is ready.
How is MOVR different?
MOVR uses monthly rider and driver memberships instead of charging drivers a per-ride platform commission. Riders still pay for each ride, and drivers still have operating costs and applicable charges.
Does membership include my rides?
No. Rider membership provides access to MOVR. Individual rides are charged separately, with the fare shown before you confirm a request.
What should drivers know?
We’re planning a $249.99 monthly Driver membership, with a 30-day trial for eligible new members. You’ll need to meet the driver, vehicle, insurance and local licensing requirements before taking trips. Membership does not guarantee approval, rides or earnings.
How will the trial and renewal work?
Eligible new memberships start with a 30-day trial. After the trial, membership renews monthly unless canceled. You can manage or cancel renewal from Account, then Membership in the app.
